If you have already traced your family tree, or do not require our full services, you might be interested in specialist searches for a particular event or piece of information.

Perhaps you only seek a copy of a birth, marriage or death certificate, or just one will?. Your distance from a record office may mean that you only require a search of a small period in a parish register, before resuming the investigations yourself.

In 2001 we purchased the Indexes of General Registration on microfiche (1837-1997). This allows us to carry out speedy searches for births, marriages and deaths at our offices in Birmingham, rather than visiting the Family Records Centre in London. This means that we can offer a quick and efficient service at affordable rates. Such searches would normally cost in the region of £20-£60, depending upon the period involved.

Lost contact with friends or relatives? With the passing years it is so easy to lose contact with friends and family but it is often possible to track individuals down, even with the briefest of information. We have access to the 2006 Electoral Register, which contains millions of names and addresses of those registered to vote throughout the United Kingdom. Whilst previous electoral lists required an address for a search to be made, the new computerised versions can be searched alphabetically.
